The world,s telescope system, the very large telescope (VLT ) , Islocated at cerro paranal in the Atacame desert , Chile .IT is used to study visible light , and to collect and analyse infrared heat energy and ultraviolet radition . During a one hour exposure ,each telecope can photograph obgect that are four billion times fainter then can be seen with the naked eyes . The very large telescope consist of four telecope units, each with a mirror of 8.2m (27ft) in diameter.The very large telesope will be used principally to search for small, Earth like planets around other stars.
