IF WINTER COMES,CAN SPRING BE FAR BEHIND ?

These lines are from Shelley’s famous poem “ODE TO THE WEST WIND”.They give us a message of hope. They urge us never to lose hope.Every dark cloud has a silver lining.Winter in England stands for sorrows and sufferings and spring stands for joy and pleasure. After the bitter days of misery and difficulties better days are bound to come.We should not lose faith in the ultimate goodness of things. In life also good and evil follow each other.Every midnight has a budding morrow. The hour before the bright dawn is the darkest. When we are surrounded by sorrows and difficulties of life, we should not lose hope and feel disappointed. We should not have a gloomy outlok on life.We should always hope for the best.We should bear sorrows and sufferings with courage and fortitude. We should bear in mind that it is not life that matters :it is the courage that we bring to it.Change is the law of nature. We should not feel depressed by temporary set-backs.We should know that tears and smiles lie cheek by jowl in human life.Sorrow and joy make the fabric of life.Therfore , we should not feel disappointed when we are surrounded by sorrow. We should always hope that the good days will definitely come.

  1. hi,

i have a strong faith about the spring coming back after winter… there are some beautifull lines in tamil which says, the sun raises and sets , the waves of the sea raises and falls and again raises, these are by default… so does life, do not worry on these things… cheer up…..

life is a cycle and the things that are in top bound to come down and the things that are in bottom are bound to come up….

India was ruled till 1947 and after 62 years, though we are not on top of the world, we can see our growth and the cycle has taken us if not from the bottom, but certainly towards the top….
