Let’s visit one of the most mysterious landmarks on earth!!!

ß∑RMυDÅ  TR¦Ä∩GLξ, also known by the name Devil’s Triangle, is a “Paranormal” region in the western part of North Atlantic ocean.The nearly 1.2 million sq. miles boundaries of the triangle cover the Straits of Florida,the Bahamas,the entire Caribbean Island area and the Atlantic east to the Azores(some add to it the Gulf of Mexico).

The Devil’s Triangle has become popular through representation by the mass media as a paranormal site in which the known laws of physics are either violated,altered or both.A number of aircrafts and surface vessels are alleged to have disappeared in mysterious circumstances which fall far beyond the boundaries of human error,piracy,equipment failure or natural disasters.Popular culture has attributed some of these disappearances to the paranormal,an extension of the Laws of Physics,or activity by extraterrestrial beings.

A substantial body of documentation exists showing numerous incidents to have been inaccurately reported or embellished by later authors,and numerous official agencies(like U.S. Coast Guards) have gone on record as stating that the nature and number of the disappearances is similar to any other area of ocean.However,proponents of paranormal phenomena claim that many incidents remain unexplained despite considerable investigation.

There is a common belief that number of ships and airplanes have disappeared under very unusual circumstances,for instance,compass variations,rogue waves,hurricanes,methane hydrates and the Gulf stream.

The very first incident at the Triangle took place on December 5,1945 with Flight 19(a training flight of TBM Avenger Bombers of United States Navy) that went missing over the Atlantic.Many attribute the loss to anomalous or unexplained reasons.

Other notable incidents of mysterios happenings at the Bermuda are disappearance of Mary Celeste(a 282 ton brigantine), S.V. Spray(a derelict fishing boat), Carroll A. Deering(a five-masted schooner), Douglas DC-3(an aircraft) and many more!

No solid record is available but most sources claim that since 1945,over 100 shipwrecks and airplane disappearances have been there and 1000 lives have been claimed by the scientifically unexplainable,anti physics triangle.

Some writers ,like  Edgar Cayce connect the Triangle to Atlantis while others to the Extra terrastrial life. Some,like Charles Berlitz also relate it to Unexplained forces and some have also tried to commercialize the spot.

Many books,movies,T.V. specials are all over the market giving various philosophies to reveal the TRIANGLE  MYSTERY.But……………………….the mystery,still….continues!!!

In short,the mystery of the BERMUDA TRIANGLE became a mystery by a kind of communal reinforcement among uncritical authors and a willing mass media to uncritically pass on the speculation that  something mysterious is going on in the Atlantic!!!
