The animals living in abundance of water are known as aquatic animals or hydrocoles . These animals never lived on land . These show the following adptations for living in water
1. The head , body and tail are compressed to give an elongated , streamlined body .
2. Their body is devoid of any outgrowths or protuberances which can interfere with their movement in water .
